UPDATE — Missing teen located

UPDATE

On the morning of December 4, 2020, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety was able to contact and confirm the welfare of Arianna Smith.

KDPS would like to thank the local media outlets and the community for your attention and assistance with this matter.

ORIGINAL

KALAMAZOO, Mich — On September 15, 2020, 17-year-old Arianna Smith was reported missing by her family. Though family members have been able to maintain some contact with her over the past few months, she has not been heard from since before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Arianna is a 17-year-old black female, approximately 5’8” tall, weighing 115 lbs. She was last seen at her home in the city of Kalamazoo, wearing Adidas jogging pants, black socks, black Nike sandals, and a jean jacket.

Missing Person: Rashad David Saleem

Rashad David Saleem

Kalamazoo, MI: On July 30, 2018 a Rashad David Saleem, DOB: 11/4/1978, left his foster care home located in the 1300 block of Sherwood Avenue in the city of Kalamazoo. At this time Saleem hasn’t returned. Saleem advised that he was going to a friend’s house but didn’t give anybody a specific address. Saleem is currently without his daily medication. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is requesting that anyone who may have seen this person, to please contact the KDPS.

Missing Person William Henry Gray Recovered

Kalamazoo, MI: The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety reports that the body of Mr. William Henry Gray was recovered in the City of Detroit with the assistance of the Michigan State Police & Detroit Police Department Homicide Task Force.

A thirty-four (34) year-old, male South Haven MI resident has been arrested on open murder charges. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is still investigating the incident.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety extends our sincerest sympathy to Mr. Gray’s family.

Missing Person: William Henry Gray

Kalamazoo, MI: The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is seeking the public’s assistance with a missing person investigation. William Henry Gray B/M 69yrs 5”11 200lbs was last seen on December 29th. Information provided to KDPS regarding the circumstances surrounding Mr. Gray’s disappearance is suspicious.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is looking for Mr. Grey and his vehicle. A white 2009 Chevy Malibu 4 door, Mi. plate CNH8619. The vehicle has damage to the front bumper. A photo of Mr. Gray and his vehicle are attached.

Missing Juvenile: Dominik Slevatz

Update: On 11/06/2017 Dominik Slevatz was located within the City of Kalamazoo and his family was notified of his well being.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety would like to thank the community members and all local media outlets that assisted with the sharing of information which greatly assisted in locating Dominik.

On November 1, 2017 at approximately 12:30 pm Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Willow Lake Drive regarding the report of a missing 16 year old juvenile. Dominik Slevatz was reported to have run away from his home by a concerned family member.

Dominik is described as being a white male, approximately 5’5” tall, 185 lbs, with black shoulder length hair and brown eyes. Dominik was last seen dressed in a green colored ski jacket with a hood. He was also reported to have been wearing winter boots. Please see the below picture.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is asking for assistance in locating Dominik to ensure his safe return to his family.
