Update: Body Located in Flood Waters

Kalamazoo, MI: On Sunday, February 25, 2018, at approximately 11:12 AM, Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Riverview Drive regarding a report of a dead body in the water.

Kalamazoo Public Safety has identified the subject as James Jackson, a forty-eight (48) year old Kalamazoo resident. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety extends our sincere sympathy to Mr. Jackson’s family and friends.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation.

Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 337-8994 or Silent Observer at 343-2100.
