Crash Investigation
On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at approximately 3:30 pm a motorist was riding their moped in the area of Charlotte and Beacon when they were involved in a serious crash. Public Safety Officers arrived on scene and performed lifesaving efforts on the driver. The driver of the moped was ultimately transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
It should be noted that Kalamazoo Public Safety is still currently in the area investigating the scene. Motorists are encouraged to seek an alternative route while the scene is being processed.
