Kalamazoo, MI: Sunday, April 2, 2023, at approximately 12:45 a.m. Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to a structure fire in the 400 block of Park Place. Upon arrival, there was smoke coming from the front door of the residence. The fire started in the living room area. A quick interior attack brought the fire under control in approximately 10 minutes.
The residents were home at the time of the fire and able to escape with no injuries. Three adults were displaced and were assisted by the Red Cross. The fire is currently being investigated by the Fire Marshall’s office.
