One person shot inside a parked vehicle

One person shot inside a parked vehicle

Kalamazoo, Michigan:

On Saturday, February 11, 2023, at approximately 12:13 A.M., Kalamazoo Public Safety responded to the 2700 block of W. Michigan Ave for reports of shots fired.  Upon their arrival, a shooting scene was located however no victims were found. 

While on scene investigating, a 17 year old Kalamazoo resident arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound and the vehicle the victim was in also had several gun shots to it.  It was determined through investigation that it was related to the shots fired scene.  The victim was treated at the local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
