Residential Structure Fire

On December 14th 2022 around 11PM Kalamazoo Public Safety was dispatched to the report of a fire in the 1900 block of N Rose St. Arriving officers found the back of a residence had heavy fire conditions. A strong initial knock down followed by a targeted interior response had the fire under control in 10 minutes of KDPS being scene and the fire out a short time later.
The fire is considered suspicious and the Fire Marshal’s office contacted to investigate.
