Structure Fire
Kalamazoo, Michigan:
On Sunday, October 16, 2022, at approximately 5:27 P.M., Kalamazoo Public Safety responded for a report of a basement fire in the 1900 block of Vanzee. Upon officers’ arrival, they located heavy smoke coming from the basement of the home. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes. There are no reported injuries.
The Kalamazoo Public Safety Fire Marshall is investigating the incident.
