Kalamazoo, Michigan: On Monday, September 19, 2022, at approximately 11:30p.m. a Kalamazoo Public Safety Officer was in the 600 block of E Michigan when a traffic violation was observed on a vehicle. After contact was made with the driver, a 27-year-old Kalamazoo resident, a gun was seen sticking out under the driver’s seat.
Additionally, contact was made with the other two passengers, a 17-year-old Kalamazoo resident and a 21-year-old Kalamazoo Resident, two additional guns were located.
All three individuals were placed under arrest for various felony charges to include CCW; Possession of a Stolen Firearm; Resisting and Obstructing; Felon in Possession of a Firearm; and parole violation.
