Shooting Investigation

Shooting Investigation

On August 24, 2022, at approximately 12:20 a.m. a 25-year-old male arrived at an area hospital suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  A vehicle of interest was discovered during the investigation. Approximately 45 minutes later an Officer from KDPS observed the vehicle traveling in the 2700 of W Main St.  A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle.  A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded two loaded firearms and a taser.     

A 26-year-old female Kalamazoo resident was arrested for multiple felony weapons related offenses.  Charges are being requested against a 25-year-old male Kalamazoo resident.  The female was lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail awaiting arraignment.  

The suspect has not been identified at this time.
