PRESS RELEASE

Vehicle Drives into Building

Kalamazoo, MI:

On April 11th 2022 at approximately 2:45pm, Kalamazoo Public Safety responded to the 1300 block of Ravine Rd for a vehicle that had driven into a business.  Responding Officers located the driver of the vehicle on scene and uninjured.  Elements of the Kalamazoo Public Safety Tech-Rescue-Team, a representative from the Fire Marshal’s office, and Kalamazoo City building inspectors responded to address any structural issues resulting from the collision.

A 36 yr old Iron Mountain MI resident is currently in custody.  There were no injuries resulting from the collision.

This incident is still currently under investigation. The business was not open at the time of the collision.
