On April 1, 2022, at approximately 1:19pm, Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to the area of Sprinkle Road and Cork Street, reference to a dump truck roll over. When officers arrived on scene, a dump truck had turned over spilling a load of concrete in the roadway.  Officers are on scene investigating this incident and assisting with traffic control.  Sprinkle Road is currently down to one lane of southbound travel.  Please avoid the area while crews are cleaning up the scene.

The driver received minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.   It does not appear that alcohol was a factor.

Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 337-8994 or Silent Observer at 343-2100.
