Fatal Car Crash

Kalamazoo, MI:  On 03/31/2022 at approximately 0145 a.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety responded to N Park/Patterson in reference to a car vs Semi crash.

 KDPS Officers responded and located a two crash that occurred in the intersection. The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the car, a 35-year-old male and Kalamazoo resident, was northbound on Park and collided with a semi that was eastbound on Patterson. Sadly, the 35-year-old male sustained fatal injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and at this time, the area of N Park/Patterson is shut down. Please seek an alternate route. Once the investigation is complete and the area open for travel, Kalamazoo Public Safety will send out an updated news release.
