Kalamazoo, MI:

On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at approximately 11:45 P.M., officers from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the 200 block of Belmont Street for reports of several gunshots.

Officers arrived on scene, locating one victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.  The victim was provided medical care and transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

In partnership with the community, Kalamazoo Public Safety remains committed to effectively addressing gun violence and asks that anyone with information regarding this incident contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 337-8120 or Silent Observer at 343-2100
