Officers Arrest Shooting Suspect

Kalamazoo, MI:

On Monday January 31st, 2022 at approximately 4:09 p.m., Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the area of Douglas Ave and Alamo Ave for a report of shots being fired.

Several witnesses called 911 reporting the incident and gave dispatchers a description of the shooter and their vehicle that assisted officers in locating the vehicle a short distance away. One occupant exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers gave chase and arrested him without incident.
