Dangerous Driving Conditions

Kalamazoo, MI:

Currently December 6th 2021, at 6:30 PM the city of Kalamazoo is experiencing snow fall that has resulted in dangerous driving conditions throughout the city.  Public Services is aware and is diligently working to salt major thorough fairs and intersections.  Kalamazoo Public Safety is aware of numerous hills where traffic is stopped and is working to divert traffic appropriately. 

Residents are encouraged to stay home over the next few hours if possible, in order to reduce the potential for accidents.  As a reminder for winter driving, please leave ample space to bring a vehicle to a safe stop, drive slowly, and wear your seatbelt.
