Armed Robbery

Kalamazoo, MI: Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at approximately 930 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block of W Michigan regarding an armed robbery of a business.

It was reported by a patron of the business that a robbery was in progress. The suspect, an unidentified male subject was armed with a gun and demanding money. There was about a 5-minute delay in reporting the crime and the suspect had left on foot; officers flooded the area in an effort to find him. The suspect left the store with an undetermined amount of cash and was not located.

The suspect is described as an African American male; approximately 40 years old; average build; black coat; gray camouflage pants; light colored shoes; white COVID mask; and wearing sunglasses.
