PRESS RELEASE

Multiple Vehicle Collision

Kalamazoo, MI:

On October 30th 2021, Kalamazoo Public Safety responded to the report of multiple vehicle accident on Drake Rd near W KL Ave.  Arriving officers located a 4-vehicle collision in the south-bound lane of travel, just south of W KL Ave.  Currently, 10:45 PM, south bound traffic is shut down and likely will be for another hour.  Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes at this time although morning travel will not be impacted.  Significant, non-life-threatening injuries were treated at local hospitals.  Alcohol does not appear to be a factor at this time however, the crash was turned over to MSP for the investigation.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Kalamazoo Public Safety at (269)337-8139 or Silent Observer at (269)343-2100 or www.kalamazoosilentobserver.com.
