On Saturday October 30th at 5:54pm officers from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the 200 Block of S Kalamazoo Mall in reference to a robbery which had just occurred. It was reported that the suspect had walked into the business, implied he had a weapon and demanded money. When officers arrived, they made contact with the suspect who was subsequently arrested without incident. No property was taken during the robbery attempt and no one was injured.
The suspect, a 37 year old Kalamazoo resident was arrested for armed robbery and is awaiting arraignment.
