Man struck by gunfire

Kalamazoo, MI:

On October 2nd, 2021 at approximately 3:26 am, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety received a report of a shooting that occurred at a business in the 1300 block of Ravine Rd. The victim, who was struck in the face by gunfire, was transported to a local emergency room by friends. Public Safety officers responded to the 1300 block of Ravine Rd where the shooting scene was located to investigate and collect evidence. As of this time, the suspect has not been located or identified. The motive for the shooting is unknown.

The victim, a 19 year old man from Fenton, MI, is listed in “serious, but stable” condition.
