KVET Arrests Suspect After Shots Fired from Moving Vehicle

On December 12th, 2025, at approximately 1500 hours, members of the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) and Crime Reduction Team (CRT) were conducting a directed patrol in the 1900 block of Gull Road in Kalamazoo Township to combat illegal weapons offenses and quality of life issues.

KDPS Addresses Misinformation Following Stockbridge Avenue Death

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) is releasing the following information to address and correct misinformation circulating regarding a recent death investigation. On Monday, December 15, 2025, at 8:21 a.m., KDPS officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Stockbridge Avenue for a report of a possible suicide.
