STRUCTURE FIRE

Kalamazoo, MI: Friday, April 2, 2021 at approximately 0125 a.m. Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to a structure fire in the 3600 block of Swift Drive. Upon arrival, there was heavy fire and smoke coming from a trailer. The extreme heat and flames caught a neighboring trailer on fire as well. The occupants of both trailers were able to get out safely.
After about 40 minutes, the fires were completely extinguished; no injuries to any citizens or firefighters were reported. The American Red Cross was notified as well.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshall.
