Police seek help solving 2018 murder

Please see below regarding a 2018 homicide that remains unsolved. Detectives are asking the public for assistance.

KALAMAZOO, Mich: On November 17, 2018 at approximately 1:30 am, Marcus Kyle Ford, a 32 year old Kalamazoo man, was shot to death in the 600-block of Douglas Ave in Kalamazoo. Mr. Ford had arrived at a residence in that area and entered a car that was backed into the driveway. Moments later, he was struck by gunfire. He attempted to run, but collapsed a short distance away. Mr. Ford was located by responding officers and was transported to Bronson Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries

Detectives have questioned those present when the shooting occurred, but have not been able to develop any leads from their information. Detectives continue to investigate this crime but are asking the community for help.

Detectives urge anyone with information about Marcus Ford’s murder to contact them directly at 269-337-8139 or via Silent Observer at 269-343-2100. When contacting Silent Observer, callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to an arrest and conviction.
