Two Firearms Seized from a Traffic Stop

On Sunday, November 8th, 2020 around 1:30 a.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety officers were monitoring the 600 Block of Elizabeth to address quality of life issues, primarily recent crowds and X-Train related activity.
A traffic stop was initiated by Officers on a vehicle in the area. Further investigation led to Officers locating two concealed weapons within the vehicle.
The suspects were identified as Kalamazoo residents and are both 23 years of age. The individuals were lodged at the Kalamazoo County jail for weapons offense charges.
