Car vs Pedestrian Accident

Pedestrian struck by vehicle

Kalamazoo, MI:

            On November 2nd, 2020 at approximately 1830 hours, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to a reported pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Mills Street and Kings Highway.  Upon arrival, Officers located and began administering treatment to the 18-year-old Kalamazoo resident lying in the intersection.  The 49-year-old male driver of the vehicle involved stayed on scene and was identified.

The female who was struck by the vehicle was transported to Bronson Hospital for minor non-life threatening injuries. This investigation is on-going, but at this time it doesn’t appear alcohol was a factor in the accident.
