Subject shot 500 N Park Street

On August 21, 2020, at approximately 10:20 am, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to reports of shots being fired with a victim on scene in the 500 block of North Park Street. An adult male victim was found on scene and transported to a local hospital in stable condition. One suspect was located several blocks away and was taken into custody. The second suspect has also been identified but is not yet in custody.

KDPS is looking for a black male 24 years old, approx. 6’ tall with a slim build, wearing a white t-shirt, white shorts and white shoes at the time of the shooting. A wheelchair was used by the suspects at the time of the incident, but it was found abandoned near the shooting location.
