Shots Fired into Occupied Residence

Kalamazoo, MI:

On August 19, 2020 around 11:55 pm, citizens reported hearing gunshots in the 1700 block of Highland Avenue.  Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Officers responded and located a residence that had been struck by gunfire.  It appeared as if multiple rounds had been fired through the front door of the home. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.  Officers canvased and spoke with area residence who reported seeing a sedan fleeing the area with no lights on after the shots were heard.

No suspects have been identified in this matter.
