1000 S Rose, Homicide

Kalamazoo, MI: On Sunday August 2nd, 2020 at about 2:45 P.M., Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the area of 1000 S Rose for several reports of a subject that had been shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject suffering from several gunshot wounds that was unresponsive. Life saving measures were attempted, but the victim was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. The male victim was identified as a 30-year-old Kalamazoo resident.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is actively investigating this incident at this time.
