Errant Gunfire Strikes Home

On Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at approximately 8:15 pm, Officers with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety were dispatched to the 900 block of Albert regarding the report of gunfire that struck a home.

An area resident reported that their window had been damaged by what they believed to be gunfire.

Officers arrived and spoke with the impacted resident. During this contact Officers discovered evidence that a bullet had traveled through their window and was lodged inside of their home.

Officers recovered evidence and canvassed the area for additional witnesses.  No injuries were reported.
