Shooting Investigations

On Tuesday June 23nd KDPS has responded to the 1100 blk of Cadillac for two separate shooting investigations.  The first shooting occurred at approximately 3:15am; during this incident a house and vehicle was struck by gunfire however no one was injured inside the residence.  The second shooting occurred at approximately 9:56am and multiple residences were struck by gunfire.  No injuries were reported in this incident as well.  These shootings occurred in a residential neighborhood and endangered the lives of innocent bystanders who were nearby.  

On Tuesday June 23rd at approximately 2:00pm KDPS responded to the area of Hopkins/Burdick regarding shots fired.  Evidence was located to corroborate a shooting occurred although no property or citizens were struck by gunfire. 

Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 337-8139 or Silent Observer at 343-2100.
