Kalamazoo, MI: On Monday, June 15th, 2020 at about 5:30 A.M., Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the 1400 block of Krom Street for a house fire. Upon arrival flames were through the roof of the structure and a live power line had fallen to the ground. The home was reported to be vacant by neighbors. Public Safety Officers worked to protect neighboring homes from fire damage as they fought the fire. The fire was brought under control in about 30 minutes.
The fire is currently being investigated by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety’s Fire Marshal’s office.
