SHOTS FIRED INVESTIGATION LEADS TO ARREST AND SEIZURE OF THREE FIREARMS.

Kalamazoo, MI: Shortly after 0300 AM on May 21st, 2020, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers were dispatched on numerous reports of shots fired in the area of Bessie St and Princeton St in the City of Kalamazoo. While responding, Public Safety Officers heard several additional gunshots in the area of the 1700 blk of Union St. During a canvass, several spent bullet casings were located on a back porch of a residence. A search warrant was conducted on the home and three firearms were seized. A 33 year old Kalamazoo resident was taken into custody on several charges relating to the incident.
