***MOTORCYCLIST HOSPITALIZED AFTER CRASH***

MOTORCYCLIST HOSPITALIZED AFTER CRASH
Kalamazoo, MI:
Around 6:30 pm Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers and rescue quickly responded after a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash occurred on W Kalamazoo Ave and Elm St. First responding officers observed the cyclist lying in the roadway and rendered medical aid. The driver and occupant of the vehicle was unharmed. W Kalamazoo Ave was shut down and traffic was diverted for about an hour while the crash was investigated.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital and is labeled in serious but stable condition at this time.
