Shooting in Interfaith Apartment Complex

Kalamazoo, MI: On 03-29-2020 at approximately 04:00hrs Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers heard gun shots in the area of Interfaith Apartment Complex. Kalamazoo County Dispatch advised shortly after they had received numerous 911 calls of gun shots from this area. When Officers arrived they located a 39y/o male that had a gunshot wound to his ankle. The victim was transported to the hospital to be treated for his non-life threatening injury.

The victim reported that he was shot by an unknown person while standing in the complex. The suspect(s) are unknown at this time.
The investigation will be handled by the Criminal Investigation Division.
