Multiple vehicles struck by drunk driver, arrest made

Kalamazoo, MI:
On 2-16-20 around 0400hrs Kalamazoo Public Safety received multiple reports of a vehicle that had crashed in the 1700 block of Knollwood Dr. Witnesses observed the lone occupant/driver exit the vehicle and flee to the north on foot and provided officers with a description. The driver was located four blocks away and showed signs of intoxication. The 19 yr old Kalamazoo resident was arrested for drunk driving and leaving the scene of an accident. In all, six vehicles were struck in the parking lot with significant damage.


Kalamazoo Public Safety would like to extend its gratitude to the witnesses for providing the information that led to the capture of the driver of the suspect vehicle.
