Guns and Narcotics Seized

Guns and Narcotics Seized
Kalamazoo, MI:
On 12/18/19 around 2030 hours, Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1400 blk of Alamo Drive. The vehicle occupants were contacted and during the course of the investigation three male occupants were found with outstanding warrants. During a search of their persons and the vehicle in question, KDPS Officers recovered two semi-automatic handguns and packaged crack cocaine. One of the firearms seized was determined to be stolen.
As a result of this investigation a 32 year old Kalamazoo resident was charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Cocaine, Receiving and Concealing charges.
A 27 year old Kalamazoo resident was charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Carrying a Concealed weapon along with an outstanding warrant.
And a 28 year old Kalamazoo resident was charged with Possession of Cocaine along with an outstanding felony warrant.
