Kalamazoo, MI:
On Tuesday, December 10th around 8:54 a.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to the 1100 block of Charlotte for a report of a house fire. First arriving officers located heavy smoke and fire coming from the back of the house. The fire was quickly extinguished. The homeowner, who was home at the time of the fire, was transported to Borgess Hospital for treatment from possible smoke inhalation and later released
The cause of the fire appeared to be suspicious and is under investigation by Fire Marshal’s office.
