Handgun Seized During Traffic Stop
Kalamazoo MI: On Tuesday, November 26th 2019, at approximately 1:24 am, Kalamazoo Public Safety officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Washington Avenue, with a vehicle for travelling on the roadway without to use of headlights.
A 28 year old Kalamazoo resident was identified as the driver of the vehicle. The driver was found to be in possession of open intoxicants. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located a loaded pistol. The driver was arrested for CCW, Felony Firearm, Open Intoxicants, and Driving While License Suspended. He was lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
