Man Arrested After Fleeing from KVET Investigators, Gun Recovered

On October 29th, 2025, members of the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) Crime Reduction Team (CRT) were conducting a directed patrol near the intersection of Alamo Ave and Douglas Ave in the city of Kalamazoo to combat illegal weapons offenses. KDPS Seeks Help Identifying Suspect in Business Break-Ins

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in multiple recent break-ins at a business in the 2800 block of Portage Street. Several crossbows and related supplies, valued at several thousand dollars, were stolen during these incidents.
