Mobile Home fire 4000 Underwood Dr

Mobile Home fire 4000 Underwood Dr

Kalamazoo, MI: On Friday, 10-11-19 at about 2:00 AM Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, Portage Fire Department and Comstock Fire Department responded to the 4000 block of Underwood Dr for a report of a mobile home fire. Upon arrival fire fighters found the majority of the structure consumed by fire. The resident was located on scene and stated no one should be inside the home. After about 20 minutes the fire was brought under control. The structure was a total loss as a result of the event. The Red Cross responded to the scene to provide assistance to the resident. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety’s Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the fire; the cause is undetermined at this time. No one was injured during this incident.
