Kalamazoo, MI: On Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 06:18 p.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to Bronson Park for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, it was found two victims had been stabbed. One female victim, a 32-year-old Kalamazoo resident, sustained a stab wound to her chest. The second female victim, a 21-year-old Kalamazoo resident, sustained stab wounds to her lower leg. Both injured subjects were quickly treated by responding officers. The victims were transported to Bronson Methodist Hospital and are in stable condition. Witnesses in the park stated the suspect stabbed the two women after an argument.
The female suspect, a 41-year-old Kalamazoo resident, was still on scene and was arrested. She was lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail pending arraignment.
