Breaking and Entering Arrests

August 30, 2019 by Michael Skurski

Kalamazoo, MI:  On Thursday, August 29, 2019, at approximately 3:18 a.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to the area of 100 E. Cork St. for a commercial burglary alarm. When officers arrived, four subjects were observed running from the business. Officers quickly located a shattered window, and several stolen items discarded in the parking lot.

A perimeter was established and two Kalamazoo Public Safety police K-9’s were requested. K9 Nero and K9 Murphy began tracking. During the track, additional stolen property and a facsimile firearm were recovered. As a result of the lengthy track, three of the suspects were located and safely arrested.
