1700 Troy Ave Armed Robbery/ Burglary

Home Invasion/Armed Robbery

On September 10, 2018 at 9:34 p.m. officers responded to the 1700 block of Troy Ave regarding a breaking and entering. The resident reported that a group of suspects broke into her residence while she was home and fled on foot. The resident reported that before the suspects fled, one of suspects pointed a gun at her, while another stole her cell phone. As more officers arrived in the area and a K9 track was conducted from the scene. The K9 track led officers to the 2600 block of Courtlandt Ave where evidence and suspects were located. 2 juveniles were arrested on charges of Armed Robbery and Home Invasion, while 2 other suspects were interviewed and charges are being sought against them.
