Armed Robbery

CITIZEN ROBBED AT GUN POINT

Kalamazoo, MI: On 9-05-18 at approximately 3: 09pm KDPS Officers responded to the 4500 Blk of Forest Hills Ln in reference to a 56 year old Kalamazoo resident being robbed at gun point by two unknown individuals.

The resident was in the parking lot of the Forest Hills Townhomes complex when he was approached at gunpoint by a male. The male suspect robbed the victim of cash and other personnel items. The male suspect then was picked up by a female driver and drove out of the complex. A description of the suspect and vehicle is provided below.

The following suspect description was obtained:

Suspect #1: White or Hispanic male in his twenties, 510, thin build. He was last seen wearing a blue Yankees baseball hat, dark colored t-shirt, shorts and had tattoos on his left arm.

Suspect #2: African American female in her mid to late twenties, long black braided hair with burgundy tint.

Suspect Vehicle: Older boxy style four door passenger car grey in color.

Public Safety is requesting anyone with information about this crime to contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 337-8994, the Criminal Investigation Division at 337-8139, or Silent Observer at 343-2100.
