CCW, reckless discharge arrest

Kalamazoo, MI:

On Tuesday September 4th 2018, at approximately 4:52p.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety officers were dispatched to the area of Edwards St. and Parson St. in reference to reports of shots fired. The caller provided a good description of the suspect and last known direction of travel. Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect. After a brief foot pursuit the suspect was taken into custody. The pistol was recovered in the vicinity where the suspect was taken into custody.

A 25 year old Kalamazoo resident was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, reckless discharge of a firearm and resisting and obstructing a police officer. The suspect was lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
