House Fire 500 Phelps Ave

House Fire

On Thursday, May 24, 2018 at about 2335 hours, officers responded to a house fire in the 500 block of Phelps. Officers were able to quickly get the fire knocked down and after about an hour were able to get the fire fully extinguished. The residents were home at the time of the fire and were able to get out safely. A family cat was rescued from the house fire by officers and the owner took the cat to a local veterinarian office for treatment. The fire is currently being investigated by the Fire Marshal’s office.
