1600 Race St Shots Fired

Shots Fired 1600 Race St

Kalamazoo, MI: On Monday, May 7, 2018 at approximately 6:45 P.M., Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1600 block of Race St. Upon arrival officers located a home in the area that had several bullets fired into it. During the investigation a male arrived at the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound stemming from the same incident. Officers are looking for a black or charcoal sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala SS, believed to be involved in the shooting. At the time of the incident the vehicle was occupied by two black males that had partially covered their faces.
