Man Arrested on Warrants

Kalamazoo, MI: On Tuesday April 24, 2018 at approximately 4:00 AM, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to the 1400 block of Stockbridge Ave. regarding a 23 year old man who was wanted on valid arrest warrants. Additional information was received that the wanted person was possibly armed with a weapon.

Several officers surrounded the house where the wanted person was located and began calling him out via public announcement (PA). He surrendered peacefully and was subsequently lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail.

This incident is still under investigation. Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is asked to call Kalamazoo Public Safety at 337-8994, Silent Observer at 343-2100 or www.kalamazoosilentobserver.com.
