Kalamazoo, MI:
On Tuesday, February 27th, 2018 around 01:49 am, Kalamazoo Public Safety officers were in the area of Ada St and North Westnedge Ave addressing quality of life complaints. Officers contacted a subject in the area that had multiple warrants. The subject was detained and a subsequent search of his person yielded a handgun and marijuana. The suspect was identified as an 18 year old Kalamazoo resident. He was lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail for charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, and Felony Firearm.
