Kalamazoo, MI:
On Saturday, January 27th, 2018, Kalamazoo Public Safety officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1500 block of North Drake Road in the City of Kalamazoo. This was due to a previously initiated investigation regarding information about sales and manufacturing of marijuana at the residence.
During the execution of the search warrant several residents were located inside the home. A search of the residence led to the seizure of over seventy marijuana plants in various stages of growth, over five pounds of processed marijuana, and a large amount of US currency believed to be the proceeds of drug sales.
A 49 year old male resident will be facing charges of Manufacturing Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, and Maintaining a Drug House. A 31 year old male resident, who is currently on parole, will also be facing charges for Possession with the Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Maintaining a Drug House and a Parole Violation. Both were transported and lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail. Further charges are pending regarding two other residents within the home.
