Kalamazoo, MI:
On Saturday, December 9th, 2017 around 8:40 PM, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to the 4000 block of Nancy Lane for a report of an assault. The suspect, a 38-year old Kalamazoo resident, assaulted the victim and then barricaded himself in his residence, leaving the victim outside in the sub-freezing weather. A search warrant for the suspect was acquired and after a two hour stand-off, officers forced entry into the residence to arrest the suspect. The suspect was arrested without further incident and was lodged in the Kalamazoo County jail on charges of Domestic Assault.
